MATERNITY CAPSULE WARDROBE

Oh no my wardrobe doesn’t fit me. This can be kind of daunting when you first get preggy as you still want to look and feel great. And with all the new changes your body is going through it can be quite daunting all the bit exciting :) I managed to find maternity clothes that weren’t only comfortable but super flattering too. No more big baggy maternity clothes.

I LOVE fashion and clothes a lot, so probably over-shopped for this short period of 9 months but for me, the main thing was to feel comfortable yet still looking stylish.

So I thought I’d share my favourite capsule maternity clothing…

Firstly wearing the right underwear is a must as there is nothing more uncomfortable than a wire bra that is poking into your ribs. And you need the right support as your body goes through these amazing changes. I was kindly gifted, my favourite and by far the comfiest underwear by Wacoal and Freya. Bravissimo stores are great for fitting and helping you chose the right bra.

The Wacoal B-Smooth Bra is seamless, has wide straps for extra support, removable padding and an elasticated under band. So it’s super comfy you can even sleep in if you’re looking for that extra support ;) My other favourite every day to going out out bra is the Freya Deco Moulded Non-Wired Soft Cup Bra which provides a comfortable and contemporary fit, in addition to being chic and sophisticated. It has a gently plunging style and is moulded for a truly fabulous shape! Super flattering on the boobies! And then as far as knickers go the ONLY pair that didn’t dig into my ever-expanding belly & hips were the Wacoal Intuition Brief. Definitely the comfiest briefs out there. They look and feel sensational giving a touch of elegance and style and are tailored to create the perfect fit. I also loved the H & M jeans & basic vests which I sized up to a large in the vests for extra space & comfit. I’m usually a small but bought the vests in Size L. And for outerwear I wore the Seraphine 3 in 1 Parka which is amazing as its has an extra pouch which you zip in the front for when bubs arrives. So is wearable both during pregnancy and after! I’m still wearing mine. It’s very cosy. :)
